OverviewWe take a new approach to memorizing lines of text by hiding the text you are trying to memorize until you have made a good guess on each line. You can expose a word or a character at a time to give yourself a hint. After only a few times through the text you should be well on your way to having the scripture or poetry memorized. It's that easy. You simply enter the text that you want to learn into Word By Word. Once you are done editing you are taken to the quiz screen that is hoping you understand the first line of text. If you need a hint, press the right arrow key and you will be shown the first character. You can keep clicking right arrow to expose more and more of the text. If you know the line, press the down arrow and Word By Word will move to the next line. Continue this process, guessing the next line as you go. Reciting each line before exposing as little as possible of each line until you reach the end of the text. Repeat the process until you can guess each line without giving yourself a hint. This is as simple as it gets to memorize any kind of scripture, poetry, lyrics or theatre. Requirements All that is required is a Windows based PC running Windows 95 or later. This includes Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP. Memory and disk space requirements are minimal. |
